using that awfull new explore, and unfortunally i cannot uninstall it.

its Ie 8 RC1, and unfortunally its the standard in win7+

anyway a few issues i have here with this browser
is if im not "using" Compability botton, the new botton
next to the URL field, i get all sorts off wierd CSS misplacesments.

plus popups such as adding link, adding img in this editor just get
killed by the popup killer, and usually when starting a quick reply
but decide to go advanced text you allready writtin stays.
well not anymore, cleans textbox on each load.

You might say its a Vb issue, well these problems are not present
on vbulletin.com so im thinking maybe its a style issue.

but again, if i click and use the compability mode, which i am ofcourse
then there is no problems. :D

Windows 7 is a beta, would it really be Vbulletin issues? I disagree. I have heard a multitude of programs not functionally with Windows 7 correctly and efficiently. Vbulletin can't predict what the new platforms are going to do.

I understand you are just pointing out to us about Windows 7:). I am sure we all appreciate it. Are their any other browsers that read the sytle correctly. Can the style be viewed on Vista/XP correctly?

I think those questions will help identify whats happening. Thanks

IE 8 Beta works fine in compatibility mode on winxp

Nps here at all and i like IE over firefox.
I do use firefox but i would never use it fully over IE.

It is a known issue that you need to use compatibility mode with vBulletin 3.X. vBulletin 3.7.0+ even has a switch to send the compatibility header by default.
