Is the vBulletin branding that I'm not allowed to remove just the copyright at the bottom, or is the "powered by vBulletin" in the title of every page (which is a pain in the ass) also something that I'm not allowed to get rid of?

Copyright at the footer must stay there.

'Powered by vBulletin' in the title box at the top of your browser may be removed. You can do it in the FORUMHOME template or header template I believe.

You are allowed to remove the branding in the title, but not in the footer (unless you have branding free).

Just posted a nice, straight answer for anyone that may come across this thread. If you have mistakenly remove the copyright notice in the footer, restore it by following the instructions in the manual: Restoring the Required Copyright Notice (http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/restore_copyright).
