help!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
hello, i have followed the instructions to make category spacing for forums, and also backed up both the forum home templates (text copy and paste), and no forums are appearing! they are still in the forum manager, but the can't see them on the webpage!
and tried to refer back to original text in template, but still no forums! they are gone!
but again, i found out this is a mod for 3.6 and i have found 3.7
please help, my forum has no forums categories now! no forum at all!

Can you link to the mod? Are you sure you followed the instructions correctly? You probably deleted too much of the original template.

thanks for your reply, i just changed the text on the forum home template between the <main> section
and copy and pasted the whole template for the forumhome forumbit 1 template
and i do notice there is not a large list of templates listed under the style manager anymore, there are only a several left.
i did a backup of the text before copying and pasting, put it back in, and nothing happened still, no forums.

Try this:
Create a new style with no parent:
Styles & Templates > Style Manager > Add New Style :
Parent Style: No Parent Style
Title: Default vBulletin
Allow User Selection: Yes
Save
Then browse the site using that totally default vbulletin style - do you still have the same problem?

Well, if all you want is spacing between the categories... Then use your original code, but make the following alterations
Template: forumhome_forumbit_level1_post
Find:
<if condition="!$show['collapsable_forums']">
<tbody>
</if>
<tr align="center">
Replace With:
<if condition="!$show['collapsable_forums']">
<tbody>
</if>
<tr><td> </td></tr>
<tr align="center">
Tempate: forumhome_forumbit_level1_nopost
Find:
<if condition="!$show['collapsable_forums']">
<tbody>
</if>
<tr>
Replace With:
<if condition="!$show['collapsable_forums']">
<tbody>
</if>
<tr><td> </td></tr>
<tr>
That should give you the spacing you want.
