Ok so i put my site through the w3c validation service and yeah.. i got a few errors.. ok ok i got more than just a few.

I noticed that alot of the problems were to do with <br> & <img> tags not being closed. Is this really necessarry?

that is what makes it valid. to make a br valid you want to do <br />
To make an image valid you do <img src="url" />

The problem is, they aren't supposed to be <br> tags and <img src=""> tags. They should be <br /> tags and <img src="" /> tags.

Well ive gone from 400+ errors with 20+ warnings to just 20 Errors. Cant get my head around some of them so it will have to stay like that. 20 isnt bad.. is it?
