I keep getting a 500 internal error and I'd like to switch hosts from godaddy to another hosting company.

How easy is it to switch hosts. My vBulletin database is pretty large.

Any hosts recommended?

Thanks.

It is very easy, but I would recommend at least trying to find out why you are getting the error before you move. So you can determine whether it is godaddy or your fault for the problem. Simple things like a bad .htaccess file can cause a 500 error.

Have you contacted support?, disabled all .htaccess file (rename them .htaccess.txt temporarily)

I would recommend HostGator to you as a new host. Very good support staff, and they never seem to be down.
