How can I get the HTML code to display as TEXT?

I am trying to explain to some members of my site exactly how to add images to their signatures and such.

I understand the code (a little bit, at least) but when I type it in for them (in a normal thread), the browser automatically converts the CODE to the image.

I just want them to see the code. Does that make sense?

Thanks in advance.

Jeremy

Put code tags around it or uncheck Automatically parse links in text

Thanks for your help, Lynne. But I still can't get this to work right.

I "unchecked" Automatically parse links and i used the tags. Neither option (or both of them combined) worked.

Here is what i am trying to display:

I hope you can see what i mean. I am just trying to reference an image for a banner from a Photobucket site. It just ALWAYS displays the jpg.

Are you using bbcode? Trying using the [ noparse ] tags around it (no spaces in there).

Awesome.

Thanks.

The "noparse" tag worked great.
