Help needed!

Alright I am currently on a 3.7.3 version and my site will be upgraded to the 3.8.1 version but I was told to choose styles from the 3.8.

I really love the current layout of the 3.7.3 version and I can't bear to do away with it.

Is there any advice pertaining this where my site can be upgraded to the latest version without removing my layout?

When you do the upgrade, you will get a list of outdated templates for that style. Go through each template and View History > Compare and then edit the template to be up-to-date. If you do your upgrade on a test site first, then you can update all the templates there and Export your style and then Import it to the live site after your upgrade.
