<!-- top nav buttons bar -->
<div align="center">

<td class="vbmenu_control"><a href="#" onclick="window.open('misc.php?$session[sessionurl]do=buddylist&focus=1','buddylist','statusbar=no,me nubar=no,toolbar=no,scrollbars =yes,resizable=yes,width=250,height=300'); return false;">$vbphrase[open_buddy_list]</a></td>

I have a double navbar as well and i think that the spacing is divided equally along the full lenght of the navbar between all the links, i don't thing your going to be able to edit each one individually :confused:
