Hi there,

Just wondered if anyone would care to take a look at my forum.

It's my 1st attempt at a forum and has been running for a little over 4 months.

I'm completely open to any suggestions or criticism.

Thanks

Shawn

Hello Ocean
Your colors are nice and calming. A couple of things but just my preference stuff.

The head is nice but a bit tall/big. Doesn't fit well and have to scroll down to much to get to the forum

The sponsored by banners really clutter the forum, especially where you have a lot of them in a row as you scroll vertically.

I'm not a fan of anything scrolling it is kind of makes me dizzy.

I really like your status icons.

Overall, I think your forum is okay but with your topic I think you can do some really creative things.

Have a great weekend.

Gabby

The logo is too big for one thing, but there is too much there ... I don't know where to look.
Also, for some reason I see a link to the admincp??

Thanks for the reply's, it's always good to get an "outsiders" opinion.

We will defiantly be looking into a few things, The problem with fish keeping is that there is lots of different areas and topics within those areas, and although there looks to be a lot there, it is necessary if we are to appeal to all areas of the hobby.

Once again thanks for taking the time to look at the site.

I think you should get rid of one of your ads either above or below the navbar. and the logo could be sized better. but its a nice site for sure. good job

Looks good.

Tooo BIG tho.

I would change stock fonts.

Goto Main css: try changing your font family to ( example )

segoe ui, arial, "lucida console", sans-serif, "helvetica neue"

I reckon that would just give you that personal edge.

Thanks to everyone who's had a look and has given me advice. Footer is done now and the VIP membership section is active. The custom pages for the classifieds and profiles sections are done. I'm hoping there's not much more to do but you never know with these things. Our coder had worked wonders with it and he deserves the credit !
