At the moment, the premium version of ProvB's homepage is ProvB Index
http://www.provb.org/vb_products.php?&vb_products=moreinfo&productid=12
This is a bit different from the Blog-Like Homepage. A premium Blog-Like homepage may be coming soon, as more feature requests/enhancements are made.

It doesn't really look much different than the 2-column vBa cmps.
Nice mod tho.

i think the difference is that the system here is using 2 queries instead of 35 to generate the homepage... and the page is less clustered with pointless blocks...True. My only misgiving is that I don't see an option for 3 columns, only 2.
If 3 columns is an option, I would probably try it.

Hello :)
It's possible to rename "blhome.php" in "index.php" ?

Thanks for the clarification Nex. Anyway, the product has already begun the upgrade process and you can see the updates live on the website. Enough talk about that.
Features Coming For Blog-Like Homepage:
Load categories right on Homepage ;)
Also, for those of you who mistake "issues" with "suggestions", here's a bit of clarification just so that this miscommunication doesn't happen again.
The need for a new feature is not an "issue", it is a "suggestion".
And if you take a look at the response time, you'll see that suggestions are usually implemented immediately if we agree ;)

so.. do the blog website work outside the forum folder?
tehPARADOX
02-06-2009, 04:40 AM
actually you are not allowed to discuss external resources here... so even if you list the disapointments you have, it's not related to the release of this basic version.
Don't be a hypocrite.
the pro version seems to have that stuff, 3 columns etc: http://www.provb.org/products/demo/provb_index_options.php

Don't be a hypocrite.
He was replying to a member's post when he first mentioned it, the same way he had replied to you. So no, he's not being a hypocrite.
The update was made instantly and your ticket was handled. Please use the website from this point on.
so.. do the blog website work outside the forum folder?
Not currently. Looking to update the Blog-Like Homepage hopefully by Monday ;)

Just curious, but can this be used in place of the actual forum index? I currently use joomla as the main site, but the forum look is plain in comparison. Thanks in advance!

Is it possible to use this as the homepage in the root directory, if the forums are in the /forum directory?
In other words, a user goes to my-site.com/ and lands on this blog-like homepage. But if they go to my-site.com/forum, they are on the forum. Is this possible?
