limit the info given for "member is currently doing x or y"

how do i limit the amount of info the view member profile gives?

e.g

"memberx is viewing private message from membery"

can i change it so it says something more limited

e.g

"memberx is private messaging"

any help would be great as ive seen it before, but ive checked all the settings in the admincp but cant find it.

Only the usergroups that you have marked "Can see WOL" (or similar) can see that information, AFAIK.

The following 3 usergroup settings have an influence on this:

Can View Detailed Location Info for Users
Can View Detailed Location Info of Users Who Visit Bad / No Permission Locations
Can view actual location of user (filepath/url).
