Email Enabled Forums

Anyone seen anything that would allow me to email enable our forums. For example, I get an emailed response to a questionnaire I have online. Instead, I would like to have that automated email response go to a vbulletin forum thread (e.g. Student Surveys) as a post or even a new thread.

I have not seen such a modification. However, it idea is possible.
