Wild Apricot-vs-vb advanced

Currently I have my membership site with Wild Apricot and I'm wondering if VB advanced would work better? Can I change the word "Register" to membership? Stuff like that.

Anyone use wildapricot here or have any experience with it? It's has been ok for me but backend, not so great.

I really like the below example of vbadvanced. Is this something that a newbit could achieve? Header and the tabs. If not, how much do you think it would cost me to have something like this made?
