Can I reassociated a deleted users with his/her posts?

Something unexpected happened. My host went down for a few hours and when my forum was back online, a user was deleted. All his posts shows up as guest, but I never deleted him. Is there any way, or hack out that can reassociate his posts after he creates a new account under the same name? Thanks!

You should first figure out what has happened. A user does not get deleted for no reason.

- Is there anything in the Mod/Admin log?
- Are more users "missing"?
- Has your host done anything with your files and/or database?
