question with upgrading my forums

hello guys I want to know upgrading my forums will affect the addons and template edits I already have at my forums? and will I loose my existing skins? any help will be good

In some cases it will. It did for me. I had to edit the new template.

Its a hectic job for me to re-edit all my templates.. anyone else had the same problem?

recently upgraded from 3.8.0 rc 1 to 3.8.1 went smooth and mods + skins was intact
only thing that broke was Cyb - tic tac toe game. :p

i can deal with that.. im not worried when upgrading minor version patches
but a major.. then i might cross my fingers when clicking through the update process. :D

vBulletin will not touch any modified templates when upgrading. However, you will be notified of any templates that have "pending" changes. You must make these changes, otherwise, your board may not function properly.
