Help with redirect

For some reason when I access my site at www.empyron.com/forums it displays a blank page, but www.empyron.com/forums/index.php is fine.

I've tried setting a redirect in my cpanel but it adds a / to the end of the url. Does anyone have any idea how to stop this, maybe with .htaccess?
