I don't know if this is possible. I've seen a few threads about this and it doesn't seem like there is much response. It seems like something that might make a good mod if it's possible to do. My problem is that I have a lot of skins on my forum. When members use the default font color, everything is fine because each skin has a default font that's visible on that skin's background. The problem comes when members start to use the color palette in the editor to change their text color in their posts. If the member is using a skin with a light background, they may choose a dark color font. It's perfectly visible on that member's screen but members using a skin with a dark background won't be able to see it.
I found two related threads on this site:

Paul M does a great job explaining how to change the palette in this post and I've used these directions to customize the palette on one of my sites before. Back then, I only had one skin.

DigitALL seemed to be having the same problem I'm having but it seems Paul's solution worked for him. My problem is that I just have too many skins to be able to come up with a palette of colors that will work on every one.
A long time ago, I was a member of a forum that had some kind of setting on it that actually changed the palette depending on the skin you were using. I don't know how they did it but I've been looking for a way to do this for years now. It's kind of hard to explain, so I hope what I'm saying makes sense. Let me try to explain it better:
Skin 1 with a light background
Options in the color palette of black, dark blue, and dark red
Skin 2 with a dark background
Options in the color palette of white, light blue, and pink
Is it possible to write a mod that would make it so if the person using skin 1 chose dark blue and it would show up as light blue for the person browsing the forum with skin 2? This would make it so basically you could add a custom palette for each skin. If you chose color #1, it would show up as one color on one skin but a different color on a different skin. If I'm not making sense, just let me know and I'll try to explain it better.
