I need a chatroom that is fully integrated into VB 3.8 and I have a $100 budget. I need only my users to be able to get in (with their usernames) and I need it to look pretty nice. Anyone have any solutions? Flashchat is giving me so many issues.

I was going to suggest FlashChat, granted it can be a major PITA to setup but it seems to work in the end. I'll know for a fact that their support is less than stellar.

I've also used AJAX Chat, https://blueimp.net/ajax/. It's free and works with vB, takes a bit of tinkering sometimes, but is pretty nice.

If you have the money to spend, and the user base, addonChat is the way to go.

Wish I can find a chatroom that allows voice!

I believe FlashChat does, if you want to attempt to set it up.

Hello,
Here is my two sense. I've used EVERY chat room on vb.org and flashchat. I found Flashchat to be a huge PITA with alot of log in problems. I've also used almost all of the other online chat rooms as well. I went back and forth for almost a year and finally ended up using Cyb Chat box with option of having it also have it's own page. It's working fantastic, my members love it and it's busy. I've had no tech issues thus far. Granted it isn't fancy but it's less work and no problems. Also, I don't have to go to yet another admin control panel to set everything, which for me was a another huge PITA. I guess with a little coding experience you could gussy-up cyb's chat box with some graphics but all and all, I'm exceptionally happy with my chat service and have no plans on changing it. Plus it's free!

Hope this helps.:)

Thanks Gabby but I didn't really understand the instructions on how to make it on its own page... and I had the same issues with flashchat.

I'm dying to know how to make this work but I'm very new to vbulletin. Any chance you could share what you did to integrate the two?

I use FlashChat as well, and it supports video(webcam) and voice.
