Can I hide some blog categories from the blog's main page?

Please help me with my problem.

I want to hide some blog entries from the blog's main page http://......../forum/blog.php

All these entries have a same blog's category. For example id:6

So if member create an entry and mark it with the blog category id:6, this entry should be available for other members to reading from his blog only. But it shouldn't appear on main page.

Hello Marco. You are using vb 4.2.3 and you replied to a post in the vb3 forum and this thread is 9 years old.

Marko, please open a new thread in vB4 area to discuss this, I do believe I've seen this done before with CMS but can't recall if I've seen it done with the Blog, heck I might be mixing them up truth be told but lets try the correct forum first ;).

Edit: For this try editing blog permissions per category, url would be www.yourforumurl.com/admincp/blog_admin.php?do=listcp

I have also try to see in the blog categories permissions, but there are only the options to let visualize the category for the user groups or give the possibility to write in.
