I am running vBulletin® Version 3.7.3 and would like to know if there is a program that can accept Paypal payments for membership without having to register first.
For example: A customer purchases the access to the forum form a HTML website (different domain name) and after the payment has been made the Paypal transfers the customer to the forum where he is instructed to register and once the registration is finished he gets the full access to the forum.
Current settings are:
Gests : can not see the forum is "PRIVATE"
Registered members: can see the forum but can not post
Paying members have full access ( payments thru the forum )
I can change this if necessary to accept payments from different domain names.
Thanks for any help.

may be you can hire some coder do get this one, I never came across such mod which allows you to pay through a HTML based website and makes your to register in forums and give full access. Its kinda looks like a adult website method hehe.. ;)

mm may be you could try out licensing option, once a person pays some money he gets a license and he uses that license to get access to certain forums, I think there is a mod for that here. try using search!

my mod does that.
Search vB.org for vBMA Members Area. =]
You can issue a licence AND also upgrade their usergroup / user level access

A simple way would be just to add a page that has your paypal code on it.
Then just assign permissions to different usergroups

what he asks is after a person pays the money that person should get access to some private sections he needs it to be automated..

After registration it is as easy as to create a Paid Subscription (default vB).
Closing the entire board until paid is something you really should reconsider. Allowing unpaying members to part of the forums has a lot of benefits:
- People are more likely to pay once they can have an impression of what to get.
- It is very convenient to have 1 forum open to unpaying members, also to help when someone needs assistence in buying or renewing their subscription.

did you try this, fireboxssl?
we have a subset of our bulletin board members who belong to a particular military veterans association. There is a forum that is restricted to just those guys, where we want to enable them to pay their dues and purchase hats, shirts, etc. online.
I've been looking for a means of using PayPal to implement this.
I'd like to know what you've found.
