This style has been created by Me.

A new looking skin using 2.0 style. Maybe it looks a litte different than

I have spent too much time to make this skin, so hope u guys here enjoy it.

I was going to try it out but there was a hidden file. It looked like from your ftp program in the 'editor' folder and when I went to upload it it shot my upload time to like 3 hours haha

You have to creat a folder in your site like /root/styles/lightskin

and then everything should be ok :)

Most of them was made wih PNG files for transparent effect.

But I guest I will not take to much cpu usage of yours. Can you take a quick test with some of your javascript ? disable/ then turn it on.

The fluid will work better with certain mods. With the chatbox it looks like a mess on the home page.

I saw what I did wrong.. I was setting the depth to more than 2, when all I needed was 2. Supposedly you cant set it higher than 2 without a mod.

So, all fixed.

Next question:

Where do I change the color of the font used in posts? A member says that the color is too ligh and it hurts their eyes, so I want to darken it a little.

You can change font color in Main CSS, find it in drop down menu of style from style manager,

Look at every table name Font Color.

@PS: Support will be priority for whom clicked installed. Update will be sent via Email. So if you use my style on your site. Mark as installed.

I experienced the same issue. I have no idea what causes it, but I am going to have to limit my users to using an avatar that's say.. 100x120 or something..

Nice looking style but one problem - if you use the adsense version of 3.8.0 the ad under the navbar area pushes the right side out, will wait for full version before going farther with this.

Kinda of cheesy, but I copied and pasted my custom Navbars to save them for later, and just reloaded the style's XML file which fixed the issue. Then I put my custom navbars back in and made sure everything was working as usual (which they were).

Congrats on your style, it really is very good indeed. I am testing it now and have the same problem as rapidhim with the avatar pic sitting too low and not mounting in the frame correctly. I tried both 125x175 and 120x170 and the problem is still there.

I'll keep trying differant sizes and let you know what seems to be the limit. Works perfect with 100x100 so ill test my way bigger from there.

Ok, been testing avatar pics. It seems that no matter what size the pic is the style always places the top edge of the pic about 25% from the top of the frame.... so it is not aligning it central vertically but in a fixed position everytime. Horizontally it is aligning the pic perfectly.

Tested pic sizes from 10x10 through to 150x130, the top of each avatar pic is always 25% down from the top of the frame.

Hope this info helps.

Without installing the skin or looking at the code on your site, I can say with an amount of certainty that the issue is you haven't uploaded the images in the folder 'editor'.

It's located in the zip file, inside styles/lightskin/editor. Upload that entire folder and its contents into 'your forum's root directory'/styles/lightskin/. Once that folder and it's contents are transferred, it should work.

If your avatar is 50 px too far down search for navbar avatar in your template and change the top margin from 50 to 3. Has anyone mentioned this to display larger avatars?

Now if you look into each field under image paths section and are just seeing the following:

styles/lightskin/buttons
styles/lightskin/statusicon
and so on, so forth,

Add:

http://www.bibbo.org/forum/images/

into each field.

For example, change:

styles/lightskin/buttons

to

http://www.bibbo.org/forum/images/styles/lightskin/buttons

Then scroll down to Replacement variables at the very bottom. Delete whatever is in that field and paste:

Is your style fixed only?

A fluid version expands to the size of your monitor whereas a fixed style will only ever show that one size. The problem with fixed styles is that people viewing on a wide screen monitor will see the forum in the middle with a large boarder.
Fluid styles are much more time consuming to create.

It's really easy to install.
Download the style and unzip
Go to admincp (in VBulletin)>style and templates>Download/upload styles and click on the browse button in the import style section.
Now browse for the style you downloaded on your computer and open it up. Now look for the folder "XML" and upload the file inside called hio-style-380.xml
You may need to click on the button Ignore style version if you get an error about versions.

now open the Hio folder on your computer and upload the folder called styles to your forum root.
That's it. It should be working!:D
The principle is the same for most styles

Another question...If you shut off your vbulletin board in the ACP, how do you login in to turn back on your board? There is no login in buttons....:confused:
