I just moved my vBulletin from www.example.com/forums/forums1 to the root directory (www.example.com). I was told it would not cause any problems, but I am using vBAdvanced CMPS and a few select mods. Most of the images work fine, but for some reason when posting a new thread and using an image like the attention sign or lightbulb, it tries to read it from the www.example.com/forums/forums1 directory. Every other graphic is read fine from the new location in the root directory. How do I fix this? Also, when members try to log on using the vBAdvanced Portal page or click any of the links on the cmps, it tries to refer them to www.example.com/forums/forums1/whatever.php

What would be the best way to resolve these issues?

Make sure you look at the Main CSS page for all of your styles and also the StyleVars page for all your styles. Check the paths in there.

Run the vBADvanced Install script again and choose the update image paths option

Where do I find these pages? I'm sure I've used them before, but I've only had vBulletin for a couple of months and I'm still trying to remember where everything is.

Styles & Templates > Style Manager > find your style in the list > StyleVars or Main CSS from the drop-down
