Is it possible to disable smileys for a certain member?

Yup... Can I disable all my forum smileys for a certain member? reason would be excessive usage to a point it's getting annoying.

No, but you can set the maximum number used in each post.

But why not just ask him to use less?

You can disable smileys for usergroups only for blogs.

I see you point however I think it would be better to warn and even ban him. After all he seems so violate your forum rules - and you are the forum boss. ;)

Well, here's the problem. He is not using them excessively but after every post he is using a smiley that has NOTHING to do with the post. Every single posts. There are some weird people out there in the world !

Well, he is currently temp banned. I was only wondering if vB has any special feature on this.

I had a similar problem and ended up just banning the person.
