I really like the look of the main forum page on here. How do I get the sub forums so show up as links like that? Also the link for the latest posts with the description as well.

You set the depth of subforums to display to a higher number

You need to modify the first few settings under "Forum Listings Options".
Also the link for the latest posts with the description as well.
It's just a link you can add to the forumhome_forumbit_level1_nopost template.
