cant get visitor message notification to go away

i had to re-import a backup of the forum and some members of my forum can not get the notification to go away

it says they have a profile message but they have checked them all and it still wont go away

i had to do a back up and i had the same problem...i used this simple mod to clear all the visitor messages... :) this is for 3.7

do you think it will work for 3.8?

Most modifications for 3.5/3.6/3.7 will work on 3.8.
