Creating a custom vB page with Tabs?

I would like to create my own custom page using the Tabs like they are on the Profile page. My head is kind of swimming after reading through member.php and class_profileblock.php and then a tutorial I found here.

Is there a "vBulletin way" of creating a page with Tabs? Please note, it's NOT that I want to simply add tabs to the existing profile page, I am creating an entirely new page. I've already checked out the great tutorial by calorie (for those looking for it, it can be found here (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=165554)) that describes how to add 'em to the profile page.

That will require a lot of digging through the templates to see how its done. :) So start by looking at the page source to see what Javascript is needed, etc.
