Inspired by code from Stangger5 (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/member.php?u=100434)

All I have done is remodel the xml files, and template edits.

Requirements ( vb3.7.0+ works on vb3.8.0 not tested on other versions )

First create 2 profile fields.
---First one is for your Playlist.com id
example: http://www.playlist.com/generate_code?playlist=57131775
so the ID is 57131775
---Second one is for your Playlist.com Mp3 player colour, default is black

Title: YoBroMoFo.com Playlist.com ID
Description: Put your Playlist.com player ID here.<br />

so the ID is <b>57131775</b>

Private Field: Yes
Field Searchable on Members List: NO
Show on Members List: NO

Then Save..

*** Remember the Field number..
Lets say the field number is 20 you will need to change the
a in $userinfo[fielda] to 20 like this to $userinfo[field20]

Create another Profile Field,,

2:
Single Selection Menu
Title: YoBroMoFo.com Playlist.com Colour
Description: Choose your colour for your YoBroMoFo playlist player.

Options: ( remember a new line for each of these options )
black
gray
purple

Private Field: Yes
Field Searchable on Members List: NO
Show on Members List: NO

Then Save..

*** Remember the Field number..
Lets say the field number is 21 you will need to change the
b in $userinfo[fieldb] to 21 like this to $userinfo[field21]

Import the plugin..

admin >> Plugins & Products >> [Add/Import Product] and import
playlist-member-profile.xml file..

Edit two templates.

1:
admincp >> Styles & Templates >> Member Info Templates >>
memberinfo_block_playlist

Find ONE $userinfo[fielda] and change the a to the Playlist ID field number..

Find ONE $userinfo[fieldb] and change the b to the Playlist field number..


2:
Edit: Styles & Templates >> Member Info Templates >> MEMBERINFO

Look for,,

$blocks[stats_mini]
$template_hook[profile_right_mini]
$blocks[friends_mini]
$blocks[albums]
$template_hook[profile_right_album]
$blocks[groups]
$blocks[visitors]

Put $blocks[playlist] anywhere in there..
I have mine after $blocks[friends_mini]..
Like this,,

$blocks[stats_mini]

find also: YoBroMoFo.com Playlist.com Colour and choose a colour for your Player in your Usercp

This isnt staggers mod.

Stagger never released to the best of my knowledge his version.

This code is a mashup of his youtube code, my code from previous players and playlist.com code.

To the best of my knowledge that shouldnt be an issue. However I maintained because some of the code within the mod, is using some of staggers, then I have accredited him accordingly.

If there is an issue, I will remove. We are currently updating this with whole new code, for seemless integration, and no template mods.

you can adapt the xml file sizes of the flash element with width and height, and autoscroll autoplay etc.
Im not a great lover of iframes.

Bear with us tho, another coder, has come up with a great little version. So if it works will release that either/or in replace of this one :)

Your 1st problem Megamutz, looks to be your Playlist URL.

Second issue is, a inherant issue with the use of $bbuserinfo

We are working on a global version via a plugin system, which will play each users player in each users profile, by other members.

Currently if user a and user b have a playlist, whenever user a looks at his or others profile he sees users a's playlist.

And vice versa

Use $userinfo[fieldx] instead of $bbuserinfo[fieldx] and you won't get the problem of your playlist ending up in everyone elses. In fact, it's not that your playlist is displayed in everyone elses, everyone else sees their own playlist in everyones profile. $bbuserinfo is related to the person that's logged in, $userinfo is what you want to use.

Would also be better if it was a complete product and you didn't need to manually create the profile fields. Maybe have a look at the product code used in this (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=196587) modification and you can adapt it to this mod.

Great potential, just need more work! Looking forward to it when it's improved. :)

1.- go to the template memberinfo_block_playlist
2.- find:

2* go to " My Playlists", the link is at the TOP of the site
3* On the right side of the page you'll see " Quick Links: ", go to
"Put your playlist on MySpace" link.
4* Select option E !
5* Select your playlist
6* Ok, this part will depend on how you want to config the playlist ( vBulletin side ):
The code i gave you has the next settings:
-Autostart: yes
-Shuffle songs: no
-Custom skin: no
-Color: pickable

If you want to change some settings on the config ( vB side ) you'll have to be carefully when putting the FIELDS in the correct place.

Ok, lets imagine that you will use the code i provided you. You can choose any setting you want on the config of your playlist because it wont make effect because the configuration is in the vBulletin side !

7* click GET CODE
8* Look for: 'loadplaylist.php?'
9* After loadplaylist.php? you'll see your playlist ID, which has to look like this:
' playlist=58229194&t=1233504198 '

Thats what you have to put in the profile field Playlist ID, exactly as i show you, dont add or remove anything or it wont work.

Actually it didn't work until I changed this in the memberinfo_block_playlist:

<if condition="$userinfo[field9]">field9 is my playlist ID field number...

But yeah, spent a good time messing around wondering why the heck it wasn't working until that change.

ALSO...For the Playlist ID field you need to change the Field Length from 25 to 50 or your ID will get chopped off...

Plugins & Products > Plugin Manager > YoBroMoFo Playlist for member profile and click [Edit].

In there add any custom usergroups IDs because if you don't then users in those groups won't see the player no matter what else you do.

If you use is_member_of it is asking if they're a member of any of the listed IDs. Not if they're in all of them.

It would definitely be nice to see this get a more automatic install, usergroup viewing/using permissions, etc.

The auto-play is turned off when you are creating the actual playlist over at Playlist.com

Simply select "no" as the option for auto-play.

Then, once this mod "pulls" the playlist onto the profiles, it will show correctly. :up:

I am having issues with people seeing the playlist. i have installed it and followed everything people have said it to work.

But still people cant see it. I tried adding the users in the code but then once i do that it gives me an error and then no one can see it

Okay, I installed it - I set it up. It works, but only for me, the Admin.

Regular members cannot see the profiles anywhere! How can I fix this? Thanks. :)
