To troubleshoot this, please remove any hacks and disable your plugins, then see if you still have this problem.
Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit config.php and add this line right under <?php
define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);
If so, reupload all the original vB non-image files (except install.php). Make sure you upload these in ASCII format and overwrite the ones on the server.
If your problem still exists, please create a new Style with no Parent set. Now browse the forum using this new style, do you still have the same problems? If you are troubleshooting login or guest issues, you will need to set this style as board default in the vBulletin Options.

If you are running vBSEO, make sure you have installed the patch for 3.8.0.

HI Herwaarden,
i asked the same question about duplicate posting in another vbulletin forum and one of supporter advised me to follow these steps.....
1) I have seen double posting problems caused by not having a flood check:
Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> Message Posting and Editing Options -> Minimum Time Between Posts
Make sure this is not set to 0.
2) You might also try disabling the problematic AJAX features (which includes the quick reply):
Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> General Settings -> Disable AJAX Features
3) Email notifications can also cause delays when posting if the mail server is being slow. Try disabling email features to test this:
Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> Email Options -> Enable Email features?
Now i have follwed these steps and it seems like my users are not getting duplicate since i made above mentioned changes.
I asked him how to fix it, his reply was.....
AJAX is the most probable cause. When your connection is laggy or unreliable then AJAX posting can result in double posts
Obviously i cant leave these settings like this, so could you please tell me how do i fix it. i want to know your views before i open a support ticket.
Thanks In Advance :)
Have fun...!

Try from different computers in a different place. If it still happens, it is likely to be a problem with your hosts side.

My users are from all over the world and most of them having this duplicate posting problem.
I am only having this problem since i have upgraded from 3.7 to 3.8.
I never used to have this issue before, i been running my from since 2005.
Well if you say this problem is with my host, then what is the solution to fix it.
what am i suppose to ask my hosters???????????
Please give me solution so i can get rid of this issue.

If it works with AJAX turned off, and it still happens using only default vB & style, then please open a support ticket.
