I tried adding the mod (THIS DAY IN HISTORY) but it was too large accross the screen and has changed the width of the current forums which are there, they are still too large even though i have taken the mod back off?
thanks for offering to help.

Clive, if you meant adding it as a category like this
If you want to add it within your forum, as a category type of insertion, just go to your ACP >Forums & Moderators > Add New Forum
In the title add : This Day In History
In the discription box add the code
Then all you had to do was to delete the category, if you didn't want it any more, Thats it, From your site it looks like you deleted much more

are you sure he can't just revert the forumhome template back to the last change uk?
NOTE: DON'T REVERT IT TO THE ORIGINAL OR YOU'LL JUST MAKE IT WORSE. JUST TO THE LAST SAVED CHANGE.

Clive do you know how to revert to the last change on the forumhome template???
As Punchbowl Says NOTE: DON'T REVERT IT TO THE ORIGINAL OR YOU'LL JUST MAKE IT WORSE. JUST TO THE LAST SAVED CHANGE.
There should be a date there of the last edit something like this

Problem ened up being that the forum category was set to act like a forum. Changed the act like a forum setting to NO and problem solved.
Thanks,
