the phpnuke (phpbb) conversion times out and runs slow

Hi, my first post.

We have managed to convert 75% of my phpnuke site to vB. Its a very large site.
Our users have posted a total of 271028 articles
We have 36217 registered users

We have converted 230,000 articles ( posts) however, we can't seem to get it to complete.
My support team has been doing this for me and has given up. I don't really know what errors we are having other than it won't finish the conversion.

They say the conversion that vBulletin wrote is really slow, not that well done. Is there a more current one that has worked for other phpnuke users? I have ver 7.7 .

Which part is it hanging on, just the posts?

You can try to increase your timeout settings for your MySQL server, and ensure its optimized and able to handle the conversion.

There maybe a SQL query you can get from vB.com to do it manually as well
