There are so many Styles and icon-sets.
But never ever anyone changes the thread.gif, thread_hot.gif etc.

Anyone who can point me to some stylish icons of that kind?

I've noticed this myself, It's an area I have found whilst reviewing sites that people have left default. Anyway, I have 20 custom designed threadmarker sets residing on my hardrive which I'll post in the vb.org database when time permits.
