3.7.4 - 3.8 upgrade

Just completed the upgrade, easy, quick.

But got to the end of upgrade, and we then get > this script will upgrade you to 3.8.0 Beta 1

Next Step.

The forum has succesfully upgraded to 3.8.0 Alpha 2

Should we just ignore this next ugrade option to BETA 1 ?

Seems weird to have it as a choice, after you have upgraded to Alpha 2

Is it an error, have I missed something lol

To upgrade to any version, you must step through all sequential versions. So,

Alpha 1 -> Alpha 2 -> Beta 1 -> etc. -> 3.8.0 Gold.

So just go through all the steps and you'll be able to complete the upgrade successfully.

Was the unknown and unknown_sg gifs hadnt uploaded to respective styles.

Remember that there are also template changes you need to do to your styles. (Alternatively, the site you purchased your style from may already have an updated style. This only applies if you bought your style through a site though. :p)
