Hey Everyone,
I'm searching for a way (plugin, etc) to sync our vbulletin users to our MailChimp account for our email sends. Currently, we're just using the "email users" feature in vBulletin, but there are many limitations there:
1- no HTML (I've found the HTML hack, but that alone isn't enough)
2 - inability to spread out the batch sending more (we can set to send 500 at time, but would like to define a time limit too, ie. 500 emails every 1 hour)
3 - by syncing to MailChimp, we'd be merging the forum user emails with other emails in the database, so wouldn't need to send two emails.
Anyone know of such a thing - MailChimp is found at http://www.mailchimp.com
OH yeah - just heard back from MailChimp support, they don't have anything in place, but their API is freely documented and available here:
