Vbulletin Versions?

hello im new with vbulletin but i have a question i recently down loaded ver 3.7 but i see theres like 5 other version and 3.6 has more mods wanted to know if theres a difeerence between security which one wud be the best version???

Best would be to wait for a few more hours and you'll see another 3.8 Final release in the download list.

So go for 3.8, the latest.

3.6 is not vulnerable but it is alo not maintained anymore, so i would not suggest to start a new board using this version.

@veenhuis, if he already thinks about using 3.6 because there are more modifications available (yes a lot of 3.6 modifications will also work on 3.7 and maybe 3.8), then i doubt he will decide for 3.8.

3.6 is not maintained now. He won't be installing all 1K mods today or ever.

And there's no meaning of recommending 3.7 when 3.8 is going to be available in a few hours, especially to such a new member like him.

He is just asking/looking for guidance as which one would be the best version, so it would be 3.8 in my opinion.
