with php code ?

This is custom code that has not been released. However, you could just create a child style (changing the appropriate width settings) and link to that style using the conventional link.

The code is unlikely to be released, if that's what you're asking. To be honest with you, I don't know why its there in the first place, it could be done with the conventional style ID link. (However, my guess is that it changes the setting in the DB, instead of just cookies with a style ID link.)

Since it's displayed in the postbit I'd assume your guess is correct ;)

However, one could just add a plugin to also change the database when the conventional style link is used. :)

You are assuming that we use multiple styles on vB.org. ;) This is not the case, we only use 1 style.

I was coming to that conclusion - it would be illogical to create a whole new function otherwise. :p
