Made some menu Tabs

I've been playing with the idea of learning to make some menu tabs so far i have the html code and 2 graphic gif files.

this is what i've made

now i have the code, and the gif files I have tried to add the html to the header and it seems to work but without the gif's i have no colors and no buttons, Where would it be best to place the code for the tabs and where would i place the gifs (2x)

I'm a complete noob when it comes to menu tabs :confused::confused:

Edit....

Just found out that i had to upload the gifs to my image directory and add the location link in the html code :D

So basically, the job is finished

It looks a bit odd on my forums, but i won't be using it, i only uploaded it as a sample.

But i'm chuffed with my bit of learning this afternoon, The perfect way to the last day of my xmas hols, Back to work tommorow :(
