I would like to set a keyword / auto search / email notice system up for certain forum members..

It would email them a link to a post or thread - if that thread contained a specified keyword.

So for example any time the word "toothache" was mentioned - a notice about it could get sent to someone....

(I thought about using Google alerts, but I don't think that works with as much pinpoint accuracy as I would like..)

Does anything like this exist?

Or would some other webpage search service - provide the same service..?

Thanks in advance..

Or send and RSS feed if a keyword is in post - that would also be OK

Help an RSS dummy out please?

How do I set up RSS feeds to send out post links in reaction to key words?

Thanks

Im also interested in something similar. Im looking for a system where users can create some "alerts", based on keywords. Like, they type in a keyword (or keywords) and select a forum. Everytime a new thread is posted in that forum and contains the keywords, it will email that user. Also, if possible, that user can specify a minimum rate, and when to send, like daily or immediately. Anyone knows something similar to this?? Dont need to be exactly like this, I can modify it to fit my requirements later, just looking for an starting point.

Thanks
