Hello again!
I have some issues with the homepage (index.php) [http://mysite.com/index.php]
Btw: we do not have http://mysite.com/forums/ before it.
We can't get to the homepage of the forum (Database error comes up) but we can still view everything else (Thread, arcade, etc)
Maybe it got deleted somewhere? Where would I add this file again, and which file is it?
Thanks!

This error is caused by a modification - some advanced portal mod you have? Disable the modification to get rid of the error and then post in the modification thread/forum to get help with the error.

I don't think it is in your admin cp, it's in your files. Find the modification and look at the modification installation instructions. Does it ask you to upload any files? Go and remove them all.

Yes, I am talking about on your server. Post 6 was regarding files in your includes/xml directory. You need to remove any files in that directory that were put there for this modification.

what if there are files for it in the include folder, not the xml folder

When you remove a modification, you should remove all the files associated with that modification.
Check
admincp
modules
includes
includes/xml
folders

So delete all the modules?
Lynne

Delete any files in any of those directories that are related to this modification. If every file in the modules directory is from this modification, then I suppose you can just delete that whole directory.

I'm not familiar with the modification at all, so I'm the wrong person to try to uninstall it. You should be asking for help in the modification thread for uninstalling it. They would know exactly what files to remove.

Guys, you had him remove files associated with the product without having him uninstall the product first.
You should try re-installing vBadvanced starting from scratch, follow all the steps they told you to for a fresh install and make sure the product is enabled. If your still having problems after that then you should take the question to vBadvanced.com for official support of the portal, because that's where your error originated from.

If you uninstalled correctly, and were using vBAdvanced as your home page, you'll need to put your old home page back into place.

You mean your FTP client? Why not just use one of the many free FTP clients, like FileZilla or SmartFTP?
Oh well, glad you got it sorted out.
