Hi,

I really like how the Article and Mods sections of vbulletin.org are setup. I like how members can submit articles and then members can vote on the articles/ mods. I like how the there is a voting area displayed horizontally at the top of the first post for each article/mod.

I like how the first post dislays the developer information and the average rating along with a standard layout for the first post in each article/mod. Having the block on the right side within this first post is also very good.

Can someone tell me how this was setup and what steps I need to do to make my board like the articles and mods sections of vbulletin.org?

Thanks!

Hey veenuisthebest,

Thanks for the link this will get me started. Any idea how vBulletin.org moved the voting area above the first post?

Thanks again.

I believe there is a mod here that puts the voting area above. Do a search on "rat*" or "vot*" in "all mods" "titles only"

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the help. Chief First Post and the ability to have the voting/rating above the first post is great.

The other thing that I like about the vbulletin.org articles/mods is that there seems to be a table that organizes a bunch of information at the top of each first post.

Is there anyone that knows if this something that is a modification or does the person posting the mod/article just follow this format and manually enter the information.

Ideally I want this information to come from a database because I have about 10 different variables that I want to put at the top of the first post.

Thanks again for everyone's help.
