showing number of users online

I want to display the number of members and guests online, on another place than the wol bit. Only pieces like $numberregistered and $totalonline don't work that easily, so plugins probably are needed...

How should that plugin look like?

The code is near the bottom of the index.php page. So, you just need to copy that code into your other page.

Already tried that code. Only the phrase gets displayed, the numbers don't show up.

Is this a php page you wrote yourself? Can you post the code you used? Also, when you wrote it, did you include global.php?
