If there is a file attached to a post, is there any way to keep track of how many times it has been downloaded?
Thanks

It should be there. It should say something like this:
filename.zip (http://line.to.site/attachment.php) (8.3 KB, 26 downloads)

I see this:
--- Attached files ----
myfile.zip (544.1 kb, 15 views)
That's all I get. I downloaded one of the files to see what happens and I still get only the views, not the downloads. Is there something that has to be turned on in the admin?

views and downloads are the same thing - it's just that they changed the wording on here from the default "views" to "downloaded".

You can change the wording to "Downloads" if you like - just search for the phrase in the Admin CP.

OH, Ok. I thought views was when a user viewed the post but not necessarily downloaded the file. Thanks.

Thanks, I'll do that to save confusion.
