Try this one, you can set the usergroup permissions for uploading and downloading, works a treat for me and really easy to install

Does this work on a plain vbulletin forum or do i need vbadvanced?

Works fine with plain, I don't use vbadvanced on my forum, take a look at the demo link i posted earlier ;)

i did look at thr demo link. it looks alot like a vbadvanced forum hence why i asked that
