Speaking of the images When might the Forum Contains New/Old Posts be changed to something more "woodsy"? TIA.

The dropdown menus to change styles and for moderation use white letters. They only show when they are highlighted. I've tried to change the settings but to no avail they will not change. Which setting is it for these menus? TIA. Is possible to get a "Thanks" button?

You might be able to pick up some help from these two links that deal with a transparent theme as well.
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=186123&highlight=transparencity
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=179507&highlight=transparencity
As for the page being darker than the screen shots, the filter is a semi-transparent gif that can be removed or replaced. It's in the css page for the theme under > page background <. You can make small gif's of different transparency that can be substituted for the default one. Or just remove it to make the body clear.
Here I used a 50% opaque page background to dim the index down to where it can be read over the colorful anime pictures.

As for the posting box I have tried using different transparency levels in place of colors but the setting for it also governs several other items and changes those as well.
