works on 3.6x--3.7x and 3.8x...
Go to--->ACP--->Styles & Templates--->Style Manager--->You Styles--->Main CSS--->Additional CSS Definitions
add this Code on the top of the window last

.tcat { text-align: center; }
Click SAVE.

doesn't work for me, I put it at the top of the first box and the top of the second box and neither worked, also tried bottom of both boxes

Looks like this effects more than just the category names, throws a lot of things out of place throughout the forums...also, if you use photopost, it jacks up some of the text in there. Definately works to center the forum descriptions, however, anything that uses .tcat will be impacted. Wonder if there is a way around this?
