If you want, you can delete all the cash files, just upload the shop files, and use it with vbcredits. But you should just use the two different ones here (shop & cash).

Never used vbplaza.

It comes with some default images to upload to the shop, and a "Test" category, which is just meant for you to delete or rename.

I have now updated it.

This v2 doesn't contain any new stuff, except for an extra "_" code, which was missing, which was why the Cash files weren't showing up in the AdminCP. It is the same size, and should work much better.

Pretty cool add-on. My recomendation, you really need to change around the settings to adjust the points for each forum. I see where you were going with it, but considering that the settings don't activate until you go into the forum manager, and save them, it just makes things way more confusing then they should be, plus I think you're going to get a lot of people thinking this doesn't work because of the way you have it now.

Personally, I'd add a setting in the admincp area to set the default number of points for each forum, and have the option to override those settings for each individual forum like you have it now. Does that make sense.

This mod looks very promising. I am currently looking for a new point system, because the current ones do not have the features I need and development stopped somehow.

Does this calculate cash for existing members/activity?

Unfortunately it looks like this mod does not cover social networking features, too. And even old features like private messages have been ignored. Or at least those are not listed on your feature list.

In my opinion these features are important for current vbulletin versions:
Points for:
- blogs
- blog comments
- visitor messages
- picture upload
- picture comment
- social groups creation
- social group discussion creation
- social group discussion reply
- profile design
- friends

- profile picture
- avatar
- signature
- private messages
(- additional profile fields)
- visiting / logging in
- thread rating
- poll creation
- poll voting

It would also be nice to be able to have allowances, meaning every user gets x cash every x period (eg 100 credits every month).

And how about interaction with other add-ons like ibproarcade or chats?

yeh, admin can donate to admin (in those seperate boxes that come up) but the normal box for submiting doesnt work. I tried it as a normal user, it just says you are not allowed to donate, same for an admin giving to anyone but another admin.

Vbcredits is free so is commerce;)

Interesting mod, side note, vbcredits and vbcommerce are both free mods, just that vbcommerce is in private development at the moment. But is and will be 100% free when it goes gold.

As for comparision between vbExperience and or vBCredits, you can't compare them, just as you can't compare this mod to them each system has its strengths and weakness's.

Your best bet is to read the feature lists here at vbulletin.org for all 3 systems, and come to your own conclusion which you would want to use.

I had the same error with another mod (an awards system) the problem was the code was not allowing for iSYQL.

take a page, iframe a bunch of links like that. Now you got a simple attack tool, if anyone of the members finds out, they easily using tinyurl make them purchase unnecessary items.

The options in the ACP aren't showing up. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling twice, and yes, I uploaded all of the files, and yes, especially the bitfield and cpnav ones.

As far as I can tell, this is just a nerfed version of iCash and IShop, renamed, with added glitches. I was hoping it was actually an update. *sigh*

Ah, I figured out why the options were not showing up:

Open up cpnav_shop.xml

Find (line 8):

<link>options.php?dogroup=shop&amp;sdo=options</link>

Replace with:

<link>options.php?do=options&amp;dogroup=shop</link>


Then they show up properly. You may want to also consider renaming "shop" to 'Shop Options', or something that looks and sounds more professional.

I've fixed this, and I'll be re-evaluating it a bit, but, to be honest, it's done pretty shoddily, and I don't think I'm going to keep it. You may want to consider re-learning PHP, MySQL, and even XML/HTML, trying some smaller projects, and working your way back up. I'm not trying to be harsh, but, the large amounts of errors, and the fact that this is someone else's project (on which you've unimproved?), seems to make it look like you don't know what you're doing.

And while learning by doing is normally okay, it's not when you release a product to the public that is unsafe. I hope no one gets any irreparable SQL errors from this. >.<

EDIT: I ran into even more errors, uninstalled, all of it.

Does the drag and drop ordering works on this version, as in it does not get reverted back to the original ordering a few moments later?

With iShop, the database column 'iorder' is all 0's. When you drag and drop your new items, it changes the order number from 0, 1, 2, etc. Then a few moments later after doing nothing at all, the value all gets reverted back to 0, showing the original ordering of the items.

Is this fixed in this version? I am comparing the codes and there's nothing much that was changed.
