I remember making some images for this site some time ago, some avatars and stuff, it looks AWESOME now. I'm impressed, LOVE the homepage...custom or? It's hot, nice work.

could use a favicon though..

Yeah, its custom. Most of the site is, to many template edits to mention, lol.

You may have worked with Chuck, I bought the site from him and totally redid it...

yup that was him, the carbon fiber framed avatars i think. i recognized the domain :D

it is definetly redone, love the navigation bar too!

Very well done, it looks really good. One thing I would say though, I think it would be better if when you click on forums, it actually shows you all the forums on the page rather than just the intros and gen discussions. I know you have the other sections in your nifty navbar, but I think it would make navigation easier if you had both.

Nice! My only comment would be on your forumdisplay page (I think that's it - http://www.fatboymag.com/forums/introductions/ ). You have all that extra space when listing the threads. Why not post the first line of the thread under the thread title - or in the extra space on the right? It's fixed width, so you should be able to just grab xx characters using the same method vb uses to post the first bit of text when you hover over the thread title.

@ Lynne - I see what you mean. I'll have to look into that, is there a place to edit the amount of words/characters the preview shows? I think I saw it - but I'm not sure where...

@ iNRoC - Thanks! That's a great complement, you should see my smile. lol I actully PMed Danny about it and see if it was allowed. If it is I'll definitely nomminate it, hope you do to... lol

If you are using the stock vb code, you can change the number of characters in vboptions > forum display options > length of thread preview text.

I'm using chrome and getting a malware code warning, so you might wanna check that out. From the quick glimse I saw of it before that came up I like it. It's simple but still looks good.

I've totally updated the homepage and made minor updates through out the whole site. Please let me know what you think...
