I know this crops up so many times but still after reading all the posts because I'm a novice when it comes to html I cant get my logo centered and in line with the left and right edges of the forum and also I want the logo to go right to the top of the page and sit on the nav bar so no gaps top and bottom. The code looks like this;

<!-- logo -->
<a name="top"></a>
<table border="0" width="$stylevar[outertablewidth]" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" align="center">
<tr>
<td align="$stylevar[left]"><a href="$vboptions[forumhome].php$session[sessionurl_q]"><img src="$stylevar[titleimage]" border="0" alt="$vboptions[bbtitle]" /></a></td>
<td align="$stylevar[right]" id="header_right_cell">
<if condition="$ad_location['ad_header_logo']">$ad_location[ad_header_logo]<else />&nbsp;</if>
</td>
</tr>
</table>
<!-- /logo -->

<!-- content table -->
$spacer_open

$_phpinclude_output

$ad_location[ad_header_end]

Any ideas on what how I need to change the code please? The site is www.phobiafear.com

Thanks

John

Try this..

<!-- logo -->
<a name="top"></a>
<table border="0" width="$stylevar[outertablewidth]" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" align="center">
<tr>
<td align="$stylevar[left]"><div align="center"><a href="$vboptions[forumhome].php$session[sessionurl_q]"><img src="$stylevar[titleimage]" border="0" alt="$vboptions[bbtitle]" /></a></div></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td align="$stylevar[left]">$ad_location[ad_header_logo]</td>
</tr>
</table>
<!-- /logo -->

<!-- content table -->
$spacer_open

$_phpinclude_output

$ad_location[ad_header_end]

Oh thanks so much for that. It's now lined up with the forum width but how do I make no gaps top and bottom? I want it to be butting up with the top of the page and sat on top of the nav bar.

Thanks very much webdosser

Edit margin in .body MAIN CSS to margin: 0px 10px 10px 10px; that will make the header goto the top.

And for removing gap between header and navbar remove <br /> form the top of navbar template.

Thanks to Sevenskins and Webdosser for all your help. It is lined up perfectly now as you can see here http://www.phobiafear.com/index.php

If you have any ideas or suggestions about the layout then I'm open for words of wisdom.

Thanks

John

Although the logo looked perfect at home I have just found out on my widescreen monitor at work it doesn't extend to the forum edges. Can someone please help to make it look good on all screen sizes? I have limited html knowledge so please go easy.

Thanks

John

the logo you have is 940px wide, so change forum width to 940px in adminCP styles (Main Table Width (pixels or percentage)) and it will look better.
