Reverting templates

If I revert the navbar template of a custom style that I found here. It will revert to the original for that style's template and not to a default vBulletin style navbar, right?

i'm pretty sure it always reverts to the default vbulletin template. unless it's a child style of a custom style.

It always reverts to vBulletin default templates even if its a child style. The only difference then is the template will be unedited and immediately pick up the changes from the parent.
