Picture links instead of forum links

Does anyone know how I can create forums like this link: http://www.buffy-boards.com/index.php

Scroll down and you will see it has pictures as links to the forum but it also has a table with the description next to it.

Anyone?

I know the forum new, and forumold gifs, are the default, but id LOVE to have a different pic for each sub forum, if they help you, please clue me in as well

Custom forum icons per forum are built into vBulletin look under the forum options in the adminCP and you'll see a place to enter a prefix for forum status icons.
