I'm running into a problem with my 3.7 vB site. I can't seem to upload any files that are larger than about 200k in size. Doing so results in a "Failed to Open Page" error in Safari after about a minute.

I've checked the attachment manager and its set to allow files up to a meg in size to be uploaded. The settings in my php.ini will permit up to 8 megs, so that's not it. I'm truly stuck as to what can be causing this. Anyone have any ideas?

The exact error message is:

Safari could not open the page “http://foobar.net/newattachment.php?do=manageattach&p=” because the server is not responding.

Are you positive that your editing the right options in the ini file?

Yes, absolutely. I've already checked with my hosting provider to make sure. Also in my vB admin home page, vB reports that PHP Max Post Size is 8.00 MB and PHP Maximum Upload Size is 7.00 MB.

Just an update: I've been playing with this a bit. Using Firefox seems to work out alright. But when I use Safari, I have issues. Are there any known problems with Safari?
